Fed is best
It's #worldbreastfeedingweek and I happen to be super passionate about breastfeeding! But before you feel judged or offended by me, let me take you back to my title - FED definitely is best. If for some reason you struggled to breastfeed your baby or if you just chose not to, that's
cool because a baby that is being fed and looked after is the most important thing.
When it comes to breastfeeding, I find that we often feel shamed and like we should be feeding our babies in a toilet cubicle, where no one can see you.
It shouldn't be this shameful thing, that you need to do in hiding! You should be able to feed your baby with pride, wherever you are, whenever they are hungry.
I'm not one to shove it in your face, or make people feel uncomfortable but I do think we have made something so natural and beautiful into something that's looked down upon. Personally I'm grateful that I have had such a easy journey with feeding my babies this way - and it just gives me even more insight into how awesome our God is! Caring about every little detail. Did you know that when your baby is sick, your mammary gland receptors detect that something is wrong and your body actually changes the milks composition by producing the necessary antibodies! How amazing is that?!
